Clay County Public Library System recently issued the following announcement.

Join us for Car Seat Safety on November 22, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Middleburg Clay-Hill Library branch in partnership with Safe Kids Northeast Florida at THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health led by Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

 You’ll get the chance to speak with a certified car seat technicians to learn more about how to keep kids safe for every ride. Parents and caregivers will learn about the following and will be able to ask questions about individual situations.

-Choosing the right car seat/booster for the child

-Making the adjustments

-Securing a safe trip (buckling and tightening)

-Installation tips

-Activity books

-Song

-Question and answer

This event will be held outside, so please bring a camping chair or blanket. Weather permitting.
