The Clay County Community and Social Services Department has relocated to 420 College Drive, Suite 107, in Middleburg. The Community and Social Services Department can assist Clay County residents with obtaining individual financial assistance including rental and utility payments, and Community Development Block Grant funding for housing rehabilitation or emergency home repairs.

The Community Services Department also offers a referral program to connect those in need with local non-profit and volunteer organizations to help meet their individual needs.
