A live presentation of artwork, including animation, studio art and new media, will be presented in the Florida School of the Arts Graduate Exhibition opening Thursday, May 26 at 5:00 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.

According to Professor of Animation/New Media Justin Murphy, “The students featured in this exhibit have a wide range of artistic styles and career goals, and we encourage that.”

Student artists in this visual arts capstone presentation include Seth Carlson, John Chiovaro, McKenzie Dobson, Ashley Ionsecu, Connor O’Sullivan and Hanna Walker.

The Graduate Exhibition is open to the public from May 26 to June 27 in the FloArts main gallery located on the Palatka campus of St. Johns River State College. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and during Main Stage performances.

In addition to studio art and graphic design/new media, other two-year associate degrees awarded at FloArts are acting, dance performance, musical theater, stage management and theater technology.

Florida School of the Arts is part of the academic and administrative structure of St. Johns River State College and serves the entire state of Florida. The School is located on SJR State’s Palatka campus. For more information, call 386-312-4300 or visit FloArts.
