Florida State College at Jacksonville recently issued the following announcement.

WHAT: Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) will host its next Business Speaker Series event featuring Bits N’ Bytes Founder and CEO Kyla Guru, an advocate for bringing cybersecurity education to all.

At 19-years-old, Kyla has already championed the importance of cybersecurity across national and international stages. She attends Stanford University, studying computer science and international relations with a focus on international security. Her 501(c)(3), Bits N’ Bytes Cybersecurity Education, is dedicated to educating and equipping all vulnerable populations, and she is also co-founder of the GirlCon Conference, a premiere event that brings industry professionals and students together to discuss bridging the gender gap in technology.

All are welcome to attend this free event. Prepackaged breakfast will be offered to all attendees. Online registration is required. Visit fscj.edu/business-speakers to register and learn more.

The Business Speaker Series was made possible by a $250,000 commitment from First Florida Credit Union to support initiatives that will help local students and community members become future business leaders. The funding helped launch the series and is bolstering the College’s Financial Skills Academy.

WHEN: Thursday, March 10, 2022, 9-10:30 a.m.

WHERE: FSCJ Downtown Campus Auditorium
