County of Clay recently issued the following announcement.

Location: Camp Chowenwaw Park
1517 Ball RoadGreen Cove Springs, Florida 32043

Come along on a historical walking tour of Camp Chowenwaw Park. Learn about the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Low, and the history of the park as a Girl Scout Camp from 

1933 to 2005. The tour includes a museum visit and a rare inside look of our iconic Big Cabin, built during the Great Depression. The walk will begin at the Big Cabin in the main 

parking area. Space is limited and registration is required. If you have a group larger than 10, please contact the park directly at 904-529-8058.
