Jacobson Wins Honorable Mention in JaxNEXT100 Writing Contest

Upper School San Jose English teacher Anna Jacobson recently won Honorable Mention for her work in the prose category in JaxNEXT100’s “We Have the WRITE to Our Futures” Writing Contest. JaxNEXT100 is a celebration of Jacksonville’s past, present and future during the city’s bicentennial.  

In partnership with 904WARD and JaxbyJax Literary Arts Festival, The Jessie invited writers, poets and spoken word artists to present work that reflects on 200 years of Jacksonville history and envisions the next 100 years through the lens of diversity and inclusion. Contest winners were announced at The Jessie on August 12.
