Public notice is hereby given that the Town Council will meet in a Private Strategy “shade” Session on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Manager’s Conference Room.

Pursuant to Section 286.011(8)(a), Florida Statutes, the Town of Orange Park Town Council will hold a shade meeting to discuss litigation strategy and litigation expenditures in the matter of Tara Hamilton and Richard S. Hamilton vs. Town of Orange Park, Case No. 2019-CA-977, filed in the Circuit Court of the Fourth Judicial Circuit, Clay County, Florida.  Attendance at the shade meeting is limited by statute to the following individuals:

                – Mayor Randy Anderson

                – Vice-Mayor Alan Watt

                – Councilman Doug Benefield

                – Councilman John Hauber

                – Councilwoman Susana Thompson

                – Town Manager Sarah Campbell

                – Town Attorney Sam Garrison

                – Certified Court Reporter

As required by law, the shade meeting will be transcribed by a certified court reporter and a transcript of the meeting will become public record at the conclusion of litigation.
