Cost of college went up for all students at Fortis College-Orange Park

Tuition and fees rose 0.3 percent for 2018-19 at Fortis College-Orange Park, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Florida students paid $15,254 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution this year – $41 more than the $15,213 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 91 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 25 students received grants or scholarships totaling $139,933 and 28 students took out student loans totaling more than $239,688.

Including all undergraduates (431), 345 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.7 million, and 295 students took out $2.4 million in federal student loans.
