Bolles School issued the following announcement on Sept. 3.
Senior Deklan Dougherty ’22 worked with FLIK Independent School Dining to set two tables in Verlander Hall to honor the 13 American soldiers who lost their lives in Afghanistan last week.
The exquisitely set tables are located to the immediate right of the entrance to Verlander Hall dining area. A placard in the middle of each table lists each soldier by name.
Restaurants and bars across the country have been setting reserved tables for the 13 brave fallen soldiers killed in a bombing near the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul, Afghanistan in late-August. The tributes are meant to honor members of the U.S. military and those who have lost their lives.
