Lauren Anaïs Hussey will present a group of paintings that fuse inked calligraphy with abstraction to explore the tension between stable and unstable formats of communication.
Molly Riefler’s surrealist mixed media pieces combine the use of vintage papers, textiles, and storybooks with nostalgic imagery from childhood to highlight how cultural values
around society, family, and intelligence are normalized through the stories we tell and the media we consume.
