#8 Vikings sweep Florida Gateway on sophomore night

St. Johns River State College Athletics issued the following announcement on Oct. 22.

The #8 Vikings played their final home match of the season and swept Florida Gateway College 25-8, 25-11, 25-17.  SJR State hit a season high .432 for the match led by Kirby 

Mason who hit .625  Mason also had a team high 11 kills making her the 8th different Viking to lead the team in kills in a match this season. Emily Evans had a season high 10 

kills, Mone Gordon had 36 assists, and Dariana Luna had 22 digs.  The Vikings finish Sun Lake Conference play with a record of 17-1 and are 28-4 overall.  SJR State finished the 

regular season at Trinity Baptist on Tuesday, October 26th at 4PM.
