Jacksonville University issued the following announcement on Nov. 3.
The Jacksonville men's lacrosse program announced its 2022 schedule Wednesday afternoon. The 15-game slate features six home dates, eight matchups on the road and one neutral-site contest before traveling to the SoCon Tournament May 5.
The 2022 campaign kicks-off Feb.5 as Jacksonville travels to Johns Hopkins. The matchup with the Blue Jays begins a three-game swing away from home to begin the year, which includes trips to Duke (Feb. 13) and a neutral-site matchup with Mercer (Feb. 15) in Savannah, Ga.
The Dolphins open the home portion of its schedule Feb. 19 welcoming Marquette to Rock Stadium, followed by a two-game trip out west to face Denver (Feb. 26) and Air Force (Feb. 27).
Jacksonville entertains Utah Mar. 6 as part of the Jacksonville Lacrosse Classic before visiting Bellarmine (Mar. 12) and UMass Lowell (Mar. 19). The Dolphins return home for three consecutive matchups against St. Johns (Mar. 26) and SoCon foes High Point (Apr. 2) and Richmond (Apr. 9).
Back-to-back conference road dates with VMI (Apr. 16) and Hampton (Apr. 18) close out the road portion of the 2022 campaign. Jacksonville welcomes Mercer Apr. 23 bringing the 2022 regular season to a close.
The 2022 SoCon Tournament will take place May 5 and 7 on the campus of High Point University in High Point, N.C.
The Dolphins finished the 2021 campaign with a 7-7 mark, which included a 4-2 showing in conference play.
