Clay County Board of County Commissioners Select Wayne Bolla as Chairman

County of Clay recently issued the following announcement.

Commissioner Betsy Condon as Vice Chair

At the November 23rd Board of County Commissioners Meeting, the Board unanimously approved the selection of Commissioner Wayne Bolla as Chairman and Commissioner 

Betsy Condon as Vice Chair, effective immediately following the Board Meeting.

Chairman Bolla is finishing his second term as District 2 Commissioner and previously served as the Chairman in Dec 2016. He also serves on the Value Adjustment Board as 

Chairman, North Florida Transportation Planning Organization, Blue Ways & Trails Committee, and the Economic Development Council Liaison. Chairman Bolla has been active in 

Republican politics and is presently the Precinct 118 Committeeman of the Clay County Republican Executive Committee. He is also a past President of the Clay County 

Republican Men’s Club and recently became an instrument rated private pilot. Chairman Bolla graduated from St. Viator High School in Chicago and went on to earn a BS in 

Mechanical/Industrial Engineering from Marquette University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Loyola University in Chicago.

Vice Chairman Betsy Condon is a native of Keystone Heights and is serving her first term as District 4 Commissioner. She currently serves as the Finance and Audit Committee 

Chairman, Executive Vice President of the Keystone Heights Rotary Club, an active member of Keystone Methodist Church, and Capital City Bank Community Board Member. 

Vice Chair Condon is a graduate of Keystone Heights Jr./Sr. High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in Environmental Health Science from the University of Georgia.
