FloArts presents North Florida Moves dance workshop

St. Johns River State College recently issued the following announcement.

Florida School of the Arts will present its annual intensive summer dance workshop, North Florida Moves, June 13 – 17 on the Palatka campus of St. Johns River State College. 

Open to dancers age 13 and older with at least two years of continuous dance training, the workshop is designed to help dancers continue developing their skills. Challenging 

classes for both beginning and advanced level students will be offered in dance styles such as ballet, contemporary, repertory, jazz and other special topics led by FloArts faculty 

and guests.

This is the perfect opportunity to get a taste of the college dance experience or refresh skills as professional dancers and teachers.

The week-long experience will conclude with a performance on Friday, June 17 at 5:30 p.m. at FloArts . The performance is free and open to the public.

Advance registration for the workshop is $65. Early workshop registration is encouraged, as space is limited. Onsite registration will be available at a cost of $75 beginning at 9:30 

a.m. on the first day of the workshop. The workshop begins at 10:00 a.m. daily.
