Bolles School recently issued the following announcement.

Three Bolles lower school robotics teams competed at the First LEGO League State Championship Invitational April 2 in Niceville, FL, where they earned several awards.

The Future Bolles Innovators (FBI) and the Council of Intellectual Aliens (CIA) teams from the Bolles Lower School Ponte Vedra Beach Campus earned their highest robot game

scores of the season, according to team coach Andrew Nation. Both teams came home with awards. The FBI won the Engineering Excellence Award and the CIA was a finalist for

the Innovation Project Award.

Operation of Fun (OOF) from the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus also competed at the state championship, earning the coveted Motivate Award. The Motivate Award

celebrates a team that embraces the culture of First LEGO League through team-building, team spirit and displayed enthusiasm.

“It was so exciting to have all three Bolles teams recognized with awards at the state level,” said OOF team coach Beth Zerkowski.
