The Dolphins (11-23) lost to USF (35-11), 4-0, in a mid-week home matchup.
JU has now lost nine straight games, dating back to March 30th. They struggled to get any offense going today as USF pitcher, Georgina Corrick, pitched a perfect game through six innings until Madison Reynolds broke up the party to lead off the seventh.
In that seventh inning, the Dolphins were able to scrape together three baserunners to put on a bit of pressure with the tying run approaching the plate. Corrick maintained composure and found a way to get the Bratek sisters to pop out and fly out, respectively, to end the game with a shutout.
The Dolphins now set their sights on a home weekend series with Stetson, beginning Friday, April 15th at 5PM.
