The sidewalks of the Bolles Lower School Whitehurst Campus were transformed into a magical wax museum setting April 21 as Grade 2 students showcased their knowledge of historical figures in costume.
Notable characters from around the globe and throughout history were represented in the informational exhibit, including Walt Disney, Rosa Parks and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. among many, many other familiar faces. More than 30 students from Julie Hager and Dr. Jaime Swartz’s classrooms set up small display areas in which they shared short presentations with their peers, faculty and parents.
Younger classes of students -- as well as upper school peers -- visiting the exhibit were captivated by the displays, watching as their older contemporaries recited information then froze in wax museum pose.
