Human Library Project

16

WEDNESDAY, MAY 18, 2022, 9AM – 12PM

Dialogue, critical conversations and engaging with others that we would not normally meet is a second way to promote access for special populations. To this end, FSCJ’s Perkins

program will sponsor a Human Library event. This diversity and inclusion best practice was started in Denmark in 2000 and helps participants learn that a book cannot be simply

judged by its cover. Per Ronni Abergel, the founder of the Human Library Project, the activity is “where you can walk in, borrow a human being and talk to them about a very

challenging topic.
