Varsity Cheerleading Team Recognized at UCA Cheer Camp

The Bolles Varsity Cheerleading team participated in UCA Cheer Camp at Florida State University this past weekend. During the three-day camp, Head Coach Christie Bateh’s team learned multiple stunts, dances and new skills, which they will use to motivate and entertain the Bulldog faithful during the upcoming school year. The team’s hard work and determination resulted in several individuals being recognized for their performances as well as honors for the entire Bulldog squad.

Teammates Eva Lantzy ’25 and Addison Trovato ’26 earned All-American honors for their performances with freshman Trovato also finishing first in the jump-off competition. Lantzy, Kayla Sterling ’25 and Maura Waller ’26 also received “Pin It Forward” awards for their positivity, friendliness, leadership and outstanding attitudes during camp.

As a team, the Bolles squad finished second overall after performing a complex dance and stunt routine in the varsity team competition. They had only 24 hours to work together and learn the routine before competition. The team also earned the Traditions Award, which is given to the team that most inspired leadership, school pride and spirit during camp.
