It was announced on Wednesday evening that Jacksonville Men's Soccer midfielder Olivier Correa was named to the ASUN's Preseason All-Conference team for the second time in his career.
This award marks Correa's fifth conference honor overall and his second season in a row of being named to the preseason All-Conference team, with last year's coming as a unanimous selection.
Throughout the 2021 season Olivier was able to notch two goals on 18 shots on net and was also a defensive force for a Dolphin team that recorded three clean sheets on the year.
Oliver's most notable performance of last season came in a 2-0 Dolphin win over conference foe Liberty, where Correa scored one of his two season goals to help lift JU to victory.
Now with just over two weeks of preseason training and three exhibition matches left, JU and Correa look towards their season opener against Detroit Mercy on Thursday, August 25, at 7 pm. The game will also serve as the team's home opener at Southern Oak Stadium in Jacksonville.
