We have the best crossing guards in Clay County!
1. Keep a lookout for them as they cross our students, parents, and school staff safely during the new school year.
2. Obey and follow their instructions when they ask you to stop!
3. Obey all posted speed limits in the school zones during the posted hours!
4. Don't stop in the crosswalk! They are for pedestrians crossing!
5. No cell phone should be in your hand (PUT IT DOWN) while driving in a school zone. If you get caught by a deputy, you will be ticketed.
