St. Johns River State College will host and compete in the state’s Division II volleyball tournament November 4 and 5. The Vikings have clinched a spot in the tournament and will play Friday, November 4 at 11:30 a.m.
The tournament features seven teams with 6 matches in the single-elimination tournament. The winner of the NJCAA Volleyball Region VIII Gulf District Division II Tournament will advance to the National Championship Tournament.
The tournament will be held at the Tuten Gymnasium on the SJR State Palatka Campus. The event is open to the public beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Tickets are $20 for an all-day Friday pass and $8 for the championship match on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.

The tournament kicks off with the annual banquet on Thursday, honoring the state’s All-Conference and All-State recipients.
