Bolles Musicians Perform in the Jacksonville Tuba Christmas
Students taught by Bolles Band Director Maggie Vance performed in the Jacksonville Tuba Christmas on December 10 at the Jacksonville SeaWalk Pavilion. This event featured more than 150 tuba players of all ages, who performed traditional Christmas songs for attendees.
Bolles students Sona Deshmukh ’29, Aidan Turney ’25 and Jane Shad ’29 participated in this year’s concert, with Shad winning the youngest performer award. Vance said this was the first time these Bulldogs had played with a large low brass ensemble.
Bolles students have performed in the Jacksonville Tuba Christmas since 2005, when Vance began teaching at the School. For more information, visit the Jacksonville Tuba Christmas website.
