There were 6,774 Black students enrolled in Clay County District Schools in the 2022-23 school year, 4.2% more than the previous year, according to the Florida Department of Education.

Data showed that Clay County District Schools welcomed 39,212 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 17.3% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the district.
