Bolles Head Swimming and Diving Coach and Aquatics Director Peter Verhoef has been selected as head coach for USA Swimming’s 2022 Girls National Select Camp. The girls camp includes 51 up-and-coming athletes and will take place October 6-9 at the United States Olympic and Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Two Bolles swimmers, Andrew Kravchenko ’24 and Sharks club member Michael Mullen, were selected for the boys’ camp, to be held October 13-16. Swimmers are selected from the SWIMS database of top times.

This camp is designed for the top USA Swimming member athletes in the nation to experience the day-to-day routine of a National Team athlete, including being accommodated at the Training Center. During the camp, these swimmers will learn about post-race recovery, drug and supplement rules, psychological training skills, nutrition, race strategy and more.
