Women’s Basketball Defeats Johnson University for Home Opener

The Dolphins won their home season opener against Johnson University on Monday morning, JU winning comfortably 109-23.  

The Dolphins scored 28 points in the first quarter while holding the Suns to only four points.  

The dominance continued for the Dolphins; JU drained multiple three-pointers to score a total of 31 points in the third quarter.  

This is the highest scoring game offensively for the Dolphins this season with more to come.  

Leading scorers were Tionna Carter with 17 points, Deshari Graham with 16 points and freshman Kyshonna Brown with 15 points.
